Strength

W hen I was a LITTLE, I ran away from monsters under my bed, I was afraid of being left alone in a mess. At the time, I ran towards my favorite hiding place in the arms of my mom, I dreamed about a superwoman’s home When I got a LITTLE OLDER, I ran away from the torment. I expected that I’d have to fight to save myself At the time, I ran towards my dad, I hoped for a mystified glad. TODAY when I run, I run away from the bad influence,  I wish I could run from my past effluence,  TODAY when I run, I run towards my imagination, I aspire life for a juxtaposition.                                                -Poushali Kar

A girl with the scars

This poem got Published in PULSE,BBSSS I am the happy one, who likes to tell jokes I am the hyper, passionate one, who might be a paradox I am the defiant one, who would never regret I am the one with the scars and their secrets. I am the messed up one, who knows life has curls I am the feeble one, who can’t change the world I am the hurt one, but much more hurt on the inside. I am the one with the scars, and their moon’s dark side I am the strong one, who is determined to do anything I am the dreamer, who imagines a different life, imagines a time when comes and clings I am the candid one, who remembers the world is not like then I am the one with the scars, but they are not me And one day their denotation will be free                                                                   ...

earth

Earth! Earth! Earth! Gives us birth! We stay on it, And die on it. It is the mother earth, Who cares for us! But when she gets angry! We all have to run and run. But our planet is the best, I live in the northeast, west. We will get it only once, It’s a boon not a curse. So, please friend save our earth And make it a beautiful blue planet earth!

Nature

(This poem got published in my school online magazine also) When the night sleeps, The sun starts to rise, Some little dew drops on plants and trees, And the birds came to fly. The fresh air of green nature, The beauty comes to see. A baby cries out and falls asleep, The day comes to capture, The sun’s energy. While the vehicles start to move And pollute the nature’s beauty!
