Mystification

I t started from the month of May that means two months ago. Everyone was so much excited and keyed up. Sanchayita was going to organize its annual program. Sanchayita is a musical institute and a socio cultural organization where I get my vocal education from my teacher Mr. Amal Mukherjee sir.            This time the program was titled ‘Music Fiesta 2K17’ by Dipraneil Sharma, the cultural secretary of the Sancayita students’ union. The day for the festival was finalized on the weekend, 1 st and 2 nd of July, 2017. Every Sanchayitans were told, not to be absent as the rehearsal starts. Gradually, everything was finalized. We used to enjoy a lot in the dummy run. We used to rehears in the Tinsukia Durgabari Music college. Everyone cooperated with each other there. Our rehearsal timing was 4.00pm to 6.00pm and again 6.30 pm to 9.00pm or 9.30pm. The second section was for drama ‘Bisharjan’.    ...

“A friend in need is a friend in deed”, we all heard this proverb, right? No friends, then no life. Friends are the stupid, sweet, intellectual, good people. They will be by your side always and never let you be alone. Friends can be defined as the person you know well and like. It doesn’t matter how much you know the person, it depends how much you are close to that person and you should love and care for that person, throughout your lifetime. That is friendship what actually means. But always remember one thing “fake friends are rumor, true friends are real”. স ব কিছু যেন বড্ড তাড়াতাড়ি হয়ে গেল না? ঠিক বুঝতে পারছি না। সত্যি কি এই দুর্ঘটনা হল? না কি ওরা সবাই মিথ্যে বলছে? সত্যি বলছি বিশ্বাস হচ্ছে না... একদম না। সেই মানুষটা যে সবার মনের মানুষ হয়ে গেছে তাকে কি ভোলা যায়?  ছোটবেলা থেকে একটা সুর আমার কানে প্রায়ই বাজত, “ তানানা নারে নারে না, তানানা নারে নারে না...”   আমি গায়কের নাম জানতাম না। কিন্তু টিভিতে খুব দেখেছি তাঁকে। আস্তে আস্তে অনেক গান শুনতাম তাঁর। কিন্তু নামটা   জানিনি, জিজ্ঞেসও করিনি। ২০১৫ সনের কথা, আমি জী-বাংলার সা রে গা মা পা রিয়েলিটি শোটি টিভিতে দেখছিলাম। হঠাৎ করে বাবা বলল,“ঐ যে শিল্পীকে দেখছিস,সে আমার ছোটবেলার বন্ধু।আমার বছরখানিক জুনিয়র। আমি প্রথমে একদম বিশ্বাস করিনি,আর করবও কেন! এত্তো বড় বিখ্যাত গায়ক বাবার বন্ধু! তা তো হতে পারে না। যাই হোক, বিশ্বাস শেষ পর্যন্ত করে নিলাম। তবুও সন্দেহ অল্প ছিল, কারণ বাবা আমার সঙ্গে ঠাট্টাও করে কখনো কখনো। বাবার থেকে নামটি জানলাম---কালিকাপ্রসাদ ভট্টাচার্য। আমার ঠিক তারিখটি মনে পড়ছে না। কিন্তু এটা ২০১৫র সেপ্টেম্বরের কথা। মাকুম রেলওয়ে হাইস্কুলের পঞ্চাশ বছর উপলক্ষে কালিকাপ্রসাদ...
